Managed IT services in Brisbane

Microsoft 365, email and identity support from Jamie Hamilton. Regular reviews, agreed improvements and help when something stops working.

If you need someone to keep working through the issues after the initial fix, we can agree a monthly arrangement. Tell me what you run, what needs attention and where your current support stops. I am based in West End, with remote support across Australia.

Managed IT services team environment with digital monitoring

You deal directly with me. We agree the work, hours and response expectations before the service starts.

When managed services make sense

Managed services are a good fit if you:

Rely heavily on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for email, files, collaboration, or identity
Need confidence that email security and access controls are being actively maintained
Need someone to work through known issues and review the environment regularly
Prefer a consistent, senior technical contact rather than a rotating helpdesk
Need after-hours support with availability and response expectations agreed in writing

Common managed service scenarios

The scope can cover these areas. We agree which are included and which need a separate project before work starts:

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace & Email
  • Ongoing tenant health checks and optimisation
  • Exchange Online / Gmail configuration and mail-flow management
  • Email security oversight (Defender, phishing protection, deliverability)
  • DMARC, SPF and DKIM monitoring and remediation
Identity & Access Management
  • Entra ID (Azure AD) and Google Admin configuration and review
  • Role-based access and external user access oversight
  • Periodic Identity and permission reviews
  • Secure onboarding and offboarding processes
Ongoing Environment Support
  • Post-migration support after M365, Google Workspace or Exchange projects
  • Regular review of configuration, policies, and security posture
  • Advice and guidance as cloud services evolve
  • Priority support when issues arise, including after-hours where required

Microsoft licences, third-party subscriptions, migrations and larger projects are discussed separately. The agreement records what your monthly fee covers.

What you receive each month

The monthly scope brings together review work, practical changes and support. The amount of each depends on the hours and priorities we agree.

A review of your Microsoft 365 environment

Check the agreed areas and explain what has changed since the last review.

  • This can include the health check, email authentication, administrative access and sign-in controls, depending on your scope and licences.

Work on the issues you have agreed to fix

Use the agreed hours to make changes in priority order.

  • Changes can cover email security, access, account lifecycle processes and configuration. Larger projects are scoped before they start.

A record of the work and what comes next

See what was completed, what remains open and which decisions need your input.

  • The reporting format and time allowed for it are part of the monthly agreement. You keep the documentation.

Support within an agreed arrangement

A named technical contact who knows the environment.

  • We agree contact methods, support hours, urgent requests and any additional charges. After-hours support is available by arrangement; this is not a staffed 24-hour helpdesk.

You can start with a Microsoft 365 health check if the priorities are unclear. The report gives us a basis for agreeing the ongoing work.

Who does the work

I am Jamie Hamilton, the person who scopes the work and carries it out.

I have more than 25 years in enterprise IT, including identity and messaging environments supporting over 200,000 users. Hamilton365 brings that experience to smaller organisations that need help with Microsoft 365, email and access management.

You can read about my background and verified credentials, or see an example of an identity lifecycle process I built for a community organisation.

Agree the terms before work starts

A small monthly review and a larger remediation program need different arrangements. Your written quote sets out the service, any initial term and the notice needed to change or end it.

Included work and hours

Know which reviews, changes and support requests the fee covers, how hours are recorded and what happens if more time is needed.

Availability and response

Agree how to contact me, when work is scheduled and how urgent issues are handled. Any response commitment belongs in the agreement.

Your tenant and domain

Your Microsoft 365 tenant, domain and data stay under your control. Administrative access is granted for the agreed work.

Documentation and handover

Keep the record of completed work and configuration. The agreement sets out notice, handover and any outstanding work on exit.

Already have an IT provider? I can work alongside them on Microsoft 365, identity or email issues. If you are changing providers, we first check tenant ownership and administrative access. A handover and a tenant migration are different jobs.

Questions about monthly support

Discuss managed services

If you think managed services may be right for your organisation, get in touch to discuss your current setup and support requirements.

Focused Microsoft 365 oversight starts from $329 per month, GST inclusive. The quote sets out the included work, hours, reporting, support arrangements and any minimum term. Broader support or remediation needs a scope and price of its own.

Tell me your approximate user count, main platforms and what you need help with. I will confirm whether I have the capacity and whether the arrangement suits the work.
